Sunridge Colony Domestic Wastewater Lagoon

Devcon was contracted to build a new sewage lagoon. The scope included compaction testing, a project survey, topsoil stripping, cut-to-fill, subgrade preparation, clay liner construction, borrow excavation, supplying and installing 250 mm PVC pipe with insulation and valve/pipe penetrations, supplying and installing manholes, procuring and installing chain-link fencing, and topsoil placement and seeding.

Devcon’s team handled loading, hauling, sorting, and managing various sizes of riprap, from initial blasted rock piles through to finished Class 1–4 materials. We collaborated with Lafarge’s production, crushing, and sorting plants to maintain steady material flow, ensure operational efficiency, and keep work areas clear. Our crews also helped load finished products for highway truck sales and distribution.
