Devcon process

1

Ground preparation and thaw management for frozen ground

Performed ground preparation and frozen subsurface management by installing ground-thawing systems to remove frozen layers and permit excavation.
2

Precision structural excavation

Conducted precision structural excavation for grade beams, slab-on-grade areas, and deep caisson pile caps in accordance with structural drawings. Prepared base by excavating, and trimming subgrade lasers at flat-to-tight grade tolerances. We stored reusable native onsite material for lreuse.
3

Confined backfill placement and compaction

Backfilled restricted access areas with concrete to form walls, grade-beams and added structural slab edges after curing. Maneuvered conveyors, transfer towers, and substructures within a dense, narrow, confined space. Employed a crane for efficient movement over constructed walls and rebar, allowing soil placement and compaction in inaccessible areas. Achieved engineered compaction through staged lifts, protecting structures and embedded anchors.
4

Quality control and structural verification

Conducted density testing on lifts, monitored structural tolerances, and performed subgrade confirmation prior to slab and beam placements. Documented and maintained field records in accordance with the contractor’s special request and Lafarge’s QA standards.
